Trying to decide on a new discus pair

I just can't think of one. Currently I have a pair of checkerboard turquoise and they are doing great. I got the go ahead from my old lady and I just can't think of what kind I want.

I was thinking of trying one of the wild variants but I don't know. The whole acclimation to tap water would be a pain in the ass so I was thinking of getting tank raised.

I don't like marlboro reds, or the yellow variants. And the cobalt/solid blue variant seems very plain to me as well.

Other than that I am stumped, there are so many that are beautiful. What do you guys think I should try?

Some of the Alenquer (wild) crosses I've seen are just awesome. I also really like the Super Eruption discus...

Holy cow, jose had awesome discus. I'm used to seeing red eruptions. I might have to get ahold of him to see where he got that one.

And I thought about pigeon blood as well. They are nice.


Edit: nvm you posted that jose lmao. Do you know where he got those by chance?
 
Those are very nice. He has a great list. Definitely opened my eyes a bit.
