Trying to feed Jack Dempsey with Oscars

Any advice welcome.... I have a small Jack Dempsey that Ive been trying to feed with pellets, but my two Oscars get everything before the Dempsey comes to the top..... thanks

You could try a sinking pellet for the dempsey while feeding the oscars floating.

divide the tank up until the dempsey is used to the oscars and the new tank and then take it out (it being the divider).

I know how you feel though, my dempsey is scared of everything and he always gets chased away at feeding time. I just bought red wrigglers and some beefheart and he takes it and runs and then I know he got enough food.

yeah, mine is the exact same way, i dont think he's eaten since i got him last week......
