so i bought some hikari freeze dried krill last night and try feeing it to my midas. he doesn't even try going for it. then i dropped some pellets in and he takes them down w/o hesitation, carefully eating around the ONE peice of krill:irked:

is there a trick to getting this guy to start eating krill? and i've left it in there overnight, should i take it out before it pollutes the water?

mine eats it i dont think he likes it so much but he eats it. you shouldnt leave it in there to long. i fast my fish on sat and sunday keeps them active. might try to that then feed it to him on monday.

great ideas. i think i might try that as hard as it is to intentionally starve the little beast for a couple of days.

well the krill that i was suppose to remove when i got home from work, dissapeared. not sure if he ate it or if it sank b/c i tried putting another one in and its floating as we speak.

Try starving him a cpl of days then give it to him again.

My GT did the same thing, but then that's all i fed him for about a week until he started eating it. Now he eats both.
