I purchased this 60 gallon tank used with african cichlids included about 2 weeks ago. When I had it set up at home I noticed these white spots that only appear on the fishes anal fins, they all seem to have it to some degree and it looks like they've been there awhile. My first guess was ich but the treatment didn't show any changes. I keep the temperature around 27 however I have raised it to 29 to help boost the treatment. I have no live plants in my tank. Currently only running filter floss in the filters to keep the treatment going properly.
I also noticed some fish seem to be rubbing themselves on the gravel intermittently. Im currently using melafix thinking its some kind of fungus but I'm hoping someone here would have a better idea what it is
