Well this is my first post to MFK.

Just wondering if it possible to buy caecilian species in the US. I've posted in another thread, talking to some other members, they informed me that the might be illegal to import.

So.. I was wondering if there is any other way to acquire these random guys.

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

Lol. Looking for an Amphibian in a fish forum.

I've had many over the years and it's an awesome critter to keep.
Rubber eel - Aquatic Caecilian -Typhlonectes natans is the best one to keep. Easy to feed and very active (night crawlers) . I've keep many in a 125 for years with angle fish, pleco's, cory cats. Small non aggressive fish.

It's been a while since I've seen one at my LFS. Try Kingsnake.com they may have one show up. They are easy to breed so they pop up every once in a while.
