I was wondering if any of the other people on this forum were aware of any good literature on lung fish. I have searched and found mostly research papers pretaining to wild distribution , species enviormental impact , and taxonomy. I am perhaps not that good of a researcher , it took me months to find this place, but I have gone as far as a university library and a few of the journals (journal of morphology, ect.) I find very little about their behavior , breeding habits , sensory adaptations. This seems like the type of situation were amature keepers could make a considerable contribution to the body of information that exsists with these species as far as some basic behavior and habits are concerned. I know reptile keepers have made significant contributions to the general knowledge of herps in the hobby, even into the way their genetics work. I am constantly in awe of the living fossil in my home and want to know as much as I can about it. I hope to find others with a similar type interest.
