I have just purchased a set of convicts to try my hand at breeding them. From what I understand it is very easy. I hope I picked a male and a female. Got one that has the red belly and one that does not. I also got another GT (Gold Saum). Hoping I picked a male as I believe my other to be a female. I will have to trade in if it does not work out. The juvie I got is much smaller than my other GT and so far mine which I believe to be female is actually quite tolerant of the new tank mate. I am watching closely to make sure my bigger GT doesn't start picking at the smaller one. Although much smaller the new one has much more defined colors on it's face and finnage. Fins also seem to flow further than my bigger one. I will have to wait it out and see though.
