I was looking to setup a tank with a few large catfish species and such but now I'm kind of trying to think of things I could keep in a 55g (temp) before they move into a 150g. I would like the tank partialy planted with african bog wood, but I'm open for suggestions. And when you mention a species please tag along a scientific name and or specs of its species.

Thankz

The Ornate Pim (Pimelodus ornatus) and sturgeon catfish (Platystomatichthys sturio) are some of the next catfish on my list to own. They are cool looking and don't grow super big. I think they'd be alright in a 150.

synodontis electric and shovelnose

Never heard of synodontis electric before. And yes I was looking into a shovel nose (jurunese) :woot: And I really would like a devil cat :FIREdevil once I find something I can keep with it.

Thanks, I'll look into those species.

I like the Lima Shovelnose. Doesn't get nearly as big as the Tiger Shovel Nose. Also, if you're up to doing a brackish tank Colombian Sharks are cool fish, as well.
