Do aros eat market shrimp? Pellets? Or are they mainly just on feeders?
If they do eat non-live is it hard to do so??

Yes they eat shrimp and pellets-With a wide variety of other foods also...
Once introduced to live-Extremely hard to get them to switch over-

I figured it would be hard to get them off live. Thanks

Well you should always buy aros that are being fed prepared foods/pellets at the fish store its always best. Do a simple google search on the Arowana Diet you will be surprised what people feed them.

Alright. Every fish store I go to feeds aros goldfish. I had a hard time getting one of my VATF'S off of live food. So I am just a lil worried about getting a fish that is hard to transfer to non-live

Is there an aro that can be housed for life in a 5x2x2 bare bottom
(like the bare bottom matters:ROFL:)? All seem to get 40" or so

nope, all aros (yes even jardinis) can reach 36"+

btw transferring aros to prepared food from goldies is very hard, i had an aro that i was starving for a week and he still wouldn't eat later i learned he had internal parasites not sure if it was the feeders but he didn't have an appetite.
