I am having some difficulties in doing this setup...
I have..
I need hose, 5/8" not 100% sure. After purchasing some 5/8 vinyl from Home Depot I found it to have a very think wall..maybe too thick as the hex nut will never slip over the top of it. (I have more than enough hose..but I think it is the wrong type...
Things I am missing...
My wish was to have clown loaches as the center piece... Saw a handful in a larger tank as a kid..
not a good idea now, unless I KNOW I can sell them once they reach 4-5"...
That's the basics.. I have some odds and ends.. I have PRIME, activated carbon, carbon matrix, biozyme, Aquasafe, an Seachem ammonia monitor that hangs in the tank, 403 foam blocks, bonded filter material, thermometer strip on tank (want a CoralLife digital), dip test strips
I am a complete n00b here tho.. I have only researched and tried to pay attention to as much as i can..

Things I am missing...
- 2 Double valve disconnects for maintenance of canister
- Spray bar/inatke manifolds and suction cups.. may need brackets to hang them into the tank?
- Substrate (thinking about Instant Aquarium Moon Sand), Wanting to use driftwood for a natural scape but plastic plants, not a fan of "state fair" looking aquascapes
- Heater..i think 150 watt
- Powerhead?
- Gravel cleaner.... i saw a basic for about $10 on foster&smith
