Not sure if this is against any TOS, but I couldn't find it..

I launched a small go fund me to try and raise the funds too buy two 2.5 foot arrows.
Current keeper will only sell with their home. A 75 gallon!
Sadly we are tight on funds presently and I can't just buy them.

But I have a 240 nearly empty for them. And a 400 being built.

Any help appreciated! Or if this is not allowed, I will remove it.

Posting a go fund me to try and rescue two arowanas off the advice of a member on here.

Not a lot of money. But not in a situation to fund this presently.

Any help appreciated. Or call me out if this is wrong? But really want to help these two.

No offence but if you have a tank now and is building another tank , it is likely you will be spending money stocking and/or maintaining both tank.

So if you really want to save them then maybe you can use whatever you intend to spend for the 2 new tanks to save the 2 arowanas

And even you manage to get the crowd funds available, would you then need additional funding to upkeep them...

Personal opinion hope you are not offended

No. We just jad a few things come uo this month and spent any additional cash we had. New washing machine and car repairs.
I could have bought them last month and likely can next month.
The tanks are a work in progress. So not really a budget there to fmtake from.

It was an option. A few people on fb suggested a go fund me. So i gave it a try.

Regardless of the situation those are two overpriced Arowanas. They definitely need to be saved but 550 is kind of a money grab. Understand the situation sucks but asking 550 for two silver arowanas and shoving them in a 75g for people to feel guilty is terrible. Try talking to the current owners and be honest with him. It's essentially animal abuse shoving 2 humongous fish in a tank that small. If it fits on a computer desk it should not hold 2 20"+ fish. I hope they find good homes

He has been contacted and gets aggressive and angry when people question him.

I realize they are not worth it.
Bug figured if everyone threw a few bucks in.
But doesn't look likely.
I'll be reqching out weekly to see when he gets desperate
