Ok, so I am attempting to set up my dream aquarium. I am absolutely obsessed and in love with ancient predatory fish, so I wanted to get a nice tank going. Currently, I have a single florida gar and a L-114 (red-tailed sternella), but I want to go really far with this project due to my love for large preditors.
These are the fish I would love to have in my tank:
-Florida Gar
-Jardini Arowana
-L-114
-Montoro Ray
-2-3x Polypterus Senegalus
I understand that with these fish, I am very easily looking at over 150-200" of fish (just in length), and I am not quite sure the dimensions of all of these guys to apply the 1" per gallon rule. Besides the obvious necessity of tons of sand for the ray and bichirs, and excellent filtration for these protine fiends, how large of a tank would you guys say that I would have to get for these guys? Along with this, would you say this is a viable setup?
