What size tank do these guys need? is there a difference in size? I dont know too much about cats.

Huge. Really huge. They grow super fast and eat like pigs. Require 600 gallons or better in fairly short order. Most people that keep them any longer than 2 years have either an indoor or outdoor pond. They are awesome pets, but require alot of water.
you could get something like a tigrinus, they have a look similar to the TSN but they can be kind of hard to find and pretty pricey, i think a lima would also work, or a golden/sun catfish (sorry don't know the scientific name but they are a gold color and get like 18in)
