hey all i know i posted this in the sticky but then read the last two asking similar were ignored! basically im pretty sure this fish is a Pseudoplatystoma orinocoense and considering planet catfish lists their max size at 20inch's that would be great for my 300g with its 7ft x 3ft footprint...

If you are identifying just from the color pattern, it will keep rather heavily evolving until the fish is near fully grown. This guy looks like ~10". IMHO, we have to wait.

If you read the revision paper and going by some other features, let us know what you found.

Tbh I'm going on Colour and markings alone, he/she is a solid 14 inches. The tiles in the pic are 300mm wide. Thanks for the links, I'll have a good look through later!-)
