hey guys picked up a tsn at my lfs.wanted to know which one on the chart its going to be.thanx! 20150629_163932.jpg

Looks like a hybrid tsnxrtc mate , your brave it'll get big quickly are you housing it with the jar ? How big is it ATM about 4-5" ?

It is a common-looking TSN baby. Statistical chances are ~100-1000 to 1 it is a fasciatum. Chances of it being anything other than a fasciatum, tigrinum or reticulatum are slim to none. The difference between the three spp mentioned usually becomes more or less visible when they reach ~2' at least. Until then, IME we'd be engaged in a rather fruitless guesswork.

The lateral white stripe is a feature of ALL TSN babies. It will disappear when the fish reaches ~6"-8".
