what do you(yourself not the internets decision) refer the tsn to?

Merodontotus tigrinus

or

Pseudoplatystoma fasciatum

"sort of plate-like mouth" is a great descriptive Genus.

TSN = Pseudoplatystoma fasciatum

Never known anyone on the net or in real life EVER refer to TSN as anything other than Pseudoplatystoma fasciatum, thats in 15 years or more of fishkeaping.
 
i very rarely ever hear them tsn refered to as tigrinus.. probably only once actually... the rest it was just fasciatum...
