Hey all,

Yesterday I stopped by my lfs, the owner and I are pretty close (he calls me the "cichlid goddess" to his other customers) so he brings me off to the side to ask whether I have any extra room right now. I, of course, do not. He explains that 15 years ago he gave some fish away to a friend, that friend's 240g exploded last night. Busted right down the middle of the front pane--he found out that it was due to some foundation settling as the tank had been in that spot for 10 years.

So I walk over to see these fish... and what do I see? A lovely adult TSN taking up half of the tank. It's not as old as 15, I think he said its a few years old. I would jump through hoops to take this big guy home, but alas have no room with my Marbled Pim right now.

So I'm looking for someone to come get it before it dies in this tank...it's not going to make it for long. The lfs is trying their hardest to provide, but they are short on room as someone recently dumped on them a large clown knife and about 4 ginormous pacu.

Attached is the only pic I could get my phone to upload... it was having issues last night. I would say he's 30+ inches at least. PM me if you're interested, he's located in Sierra Vista, Arizona but I would be willing to help transport him (within reason, I work during the day full time). I'm not sure how much the owner would want for him, but I think he's more desperate to get him out of there then to sell him, as this was his fish before he gave it to his friend.

wow.... Bump for the fishie.

Consider getting them to contact the local or closest zoo or public aquarium, and donate it. That's what I did with my larger shovelnose before when I had run out of room and had to break down my 1100g
