I see alot of threads about RTC's and they usually include some info about TSN or say they are both "same husbandry" .. my fiance and I took the plunge and just purchased our first big cat, "Fluffy".. atm he/she is in a 20Long and was to himself until my arrow got slapped around by the florida gar. ATM fluffy is about 3" and was about 2.5" not more 'n last week. Will he/she be okay in this tank until he hit about 8-10"? I do not want to stunt him, and ideally I don't want to be tank size hopping to much.. the next ideal upgrade will be a 300 gal stock tank/trough. Or should I set aside a 125 for him for a few monthes between tank sizes? Obviousely I know a 3" TSN in a 300Gal isn't a bad thing. But we won't be able to settle into our place and get the stock tank for about 3 more months min 5-6 max, and we're looking at an indoor pond by next spring/summer ( promised my fiance once it was done we'de get a RTC as well and maybe a few pims =D ). And do you guys think the silver arrow will be a good tank-mate for him? originally he was going to bunk w/ my gar.. but my gar has decided he doesn't like the Arrow.
