tsn question. need help asap

ny tsn just stabbed me in my hand. i didn't even know they had barbs on there front fins that can do that. is there anything i should know? like i don't think there venomous but my hand is killing me. if it helps the tsn is 10"

Clean the wound REALLY well, and maybe put peroxide or some disinfectant on it...keep it clean. Lots of cats have venom, there was a thread on it here in the catfish forums.

I've only been stabbed by a bullhead but that hurt so bad!

Hold your hand under really hot water it'll help nuetralize the toxins

Keep it clean and give it time more than anything. You'll be fine.
