First of all what is your water quality like? Have you done a test to check the Amonia,Nitrite,PH and nitrate of the water if not that would be my first thought that it is in bad water and a fish of that size should be eating dayly. Is there any chance that it could have eaten anything from in the tank to block him up?
try worms or thawed shrimp chunks, turn the light off and the room light off, leave for 10 or 15 min then go in with a flash light briefly, dont harass him
thats if the water is pristine and he's not eating, check ur water first.
