NIce one kida, they are a great fish, my most fav, i have had others in the past but these are at the top for me.
I have one also about the same size as yours (OP`s), but he was as big as stevio Mcnellos, i think, about 2.5 inch.
Bob has got a brownish colour to his head and tail recently.
I got this of him the other day feeding, and beeing roughed up a little
, that will soon end

All of them look great. How big are they supposed to get? Im guessing about the same as the parents.
That first picture looks really good, yours has some nice reds coming in on his dorsal and tail fin
