I'm now the proud owner of an ~10" TSN, thanks to rivers-RTC... Got him in a 90 gallon quarantine tank, he'll be in a 200 next week but I am now thinking of getting started on his pond. I hear all sorts of sizes from 300G up to 2000G, what do you lot think is a good size for a full grown TSN and some tankmates?

the pond has to be definitely 4' wide
and length somewhere around 10'
and height nearly 3.5'
this is what i am building for my TSNs and the RTCs

I have always wanted a TSN,RTC, or a hybrid, but my plywood tank will only be 8' x 3.5' x 3.5'. I'll look for smaller monster to keep!

you should make the tank atleast 10' long and about 4' or more and at least 3' and many says that the height wont really matter but i saw it kinda does matter in some term...im making my pond a 12'x6'x6'

10by4by3 is cool, I can do that in the front room...just lol! Extra height can only be good as it increases water volume.... Any bigger than that though and they'll have to go outside.... I was thinking youd have to have the pond wide enough for them to turn round without touching the sides... Rivers=RTC has a gorgeous ~2ft rtc/tsn cross, that swims in the jet from the filter like little danio!
