It's weird I woke up this morning fed my tsn he seemed fine. Before I left for classes I checked him and again and it looked like someone sprinkled salt on him. Is it possible that ich showed up that quickly? Within 45 minutes or so. I quickly started treatment with quick cure this morning. The tank is currently at ~80 degrees F. Throughout the day I will try and raise the temp to 84-86 degrees F. I also added some salt. Hopefully the fish will be ok. He's only ~3-3.5" now. He did have a nice fat belly this morning so he was eating.

You're not using treatment containing copper, are you? Salt and elevated temps would probably be a better way to treat -- it should work on its own, without the chemical.
