TSN?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
What is your water temp? To get him off of feeders you will have to starve him. Put in pellets or shrimp and wait till he starts to eat it. It might take a couple weeks though.

i have never had a single problem feeding a catfish other food

mine sit montionless at the bottom pretty much 99% of the time,

84-86 degrees and the TSN will feel more secure if you have some other fish moving around. Arowana, large Oscars, Peacock Bass.

They can definitely be trained to eat something else then feeders: smelts, shrimps and even pellets.

stop feeding him for 5days but do water change every other day to make your water more perfect than it is now. then on the 6th day feed it any frozen food, such as frozen shrimps, cockles, kingprawns, muscles etc.

also, if your water is good, the TSN should always be active, swimming your tank and looking for food. or else your tank might be too bright? or too small?

like they said, try getting to eat some shrimp, silversides, or krill, and eventually wean it onto possibly something like massivore
