how long could a TSN live in a 180? and what would be the absolute min. tank size to keep it in? could it eat the fish currently living in the 180
 
It will soon need a bigger tank. These catfish require a pond. TSN's need alot of swimming space. Same as RTC. You can have him in the 180 but soon he will need a 300g. Whatever fits in his mouth, he will eat. So be careful with any other tankmates.

Like he said. :) I've had mine about 10 months and they've gone from 3.5 inches to 22+", and I've been looking very hard to get a big upgrade from the 180 to bare minimum 300. I'm hoping much more for a more like 500. Also, if they think they MIGHT be hungry, any fish they an wedge into those bigger than you realize mouths can go in. Even if the fish won't fit all the way down, they'll still try to give it a go sometimes.
