TSN's barbel keeps snapping

this happened several times now,one day i'll see one of it's barbels half snapped or shorter than the others.it has no tankmate except for a smaller RTC.the rest are large rocks,driftwoods and plants.

maybe it's because of the way they hunt,the sudden burst or jet forward they do once they have located their prey.i don't know...

anyways,is this bad for the TSN?so far i don't see any changes on it's behavior.

size is just 8"...

I'm not totally sure of what you mean. Are you referring to barbels around the mouth area or actual trailers? Pics would help.

if you mean the barbells on his face(whiskers) then im not sure what could be causing this. they will grow back though, but be careful he doesnt get a fungus infection.

oh yes,i'm referring to the whiskers that is on top of the mouth.near the nose.sorry if i am using the wrong terms.
