i used to have one with no eyes. he had kind aindentions where they should have been. his head was also more bulky like a rtc. just wondering if anyon else has seen this before ?

A friend of mine had a blind tsnxredtail the same as yours, he was 2ft and wasn`t hindered by this disability one bit, really odd though as in the 4 months that he had him ( he was only holding him for a freind who was building a tropical pond ) the indentations where his eyes had been started to grow back :screwy:, good luck with the little fella though.

yea strangly enough he was the biggest healthiest cat in the tank at the shop. i had to get him

My tsn had his eyes picked out by a distochodus. The indentations are now filled in. He is much less shy now and swims around the tank constantly. The only problem is he has not grown more than an inch since this happened, even though he eats much more then before.

yea its crazy how they do better without eyes.
sorry no pics. i dont have him anymore he is in a friends 125 for now

I had a TSN without eyes, I fell eyeless catfish do better because they are no longer afraid of the light, are more active in the day and get more food.

Makes sense especially when it comes to TSN as they become quite skittish at any signs of movement.
