tt and fire

I haven't personally, but I know that there are quite a few members who have.

i have a small tt at my access and it would be the same size as my fire and i was thinking of getting it...i just have one big tank for them together...

I'd think it should be fine, as long as they have plenty of hiding spaces to choose from so they aren't constantly fighting over territory.

i may get it then...as my favorite eel is the fire followed by the tt and then peacock...i have the fire and peacock...

just out of curiosity how big is your tank?

my bigest tank right now is a 180gal...i am looking into a 300gal with a 6'x3' footprint...i have a 55gal growout that i have my current fire in and my peacock is in a diff 55gal...i also in the next few years will be constructing a few ponds...

i have found out with some other fish that if you have a few then you have problems, but if you over stock your tank then everyone gets along and you can have some combos that aren't supost to work...one ex. was my african cichlid setup...i had africans, african peacocks, eels, knives, balas, oscars, angels and a few others in the same tank with no problems...reduced the stock to 4 africans and they started killing eachother...

so to make this work i may need a few of each sp..

i just may...anyone have pics of a 3" tt so i can be sure it is a tt? i can get some larger ones around 10" or so...i just think if they are the same size or close to i could raise them together and they might stand a better chance of living together...
