TT how quick to grow?

i too have a small tire track about 6 inches and would be interested in growth rates etc

after reading some of the other threads on here it sounds like they grow on average between 1 and 2" per month up until about the 15 to 20" mark and then it slows down considerably. one guy said he would not expect a TT to grow from about 5" to over 2' in anything less than a year and a half. thats about 20" in 18 months at the fastest.
i bought a 4in TT this past july.. hes now 15in.. so its been around 8 months and he grew 11 inches.. just feed him blood worms every night and he'll start growing pretty quick.. once they hit like 13inches the growth rate tends to slow down
I was told the same from my LFS when i bought my Eel's, but he said that the TT Eels grow slower then the Fire Eels. Honestly though, i don't mind waiting 4 years for my Eels to grow 30+ inches. That's alot of bonding time. I look fowards to it.
