My tank is 2100x83wx71h.
in there is a 17 to 18 inch rtg, plenty of clown loaches
bichirs
geophagus
dat
BGK, CK, parrot.

all getting along, with the TTin there thats aobut 18 inch also, maybe bigger, 18 to 19 inches.

I am thinking of getting a fire eel, hunting one thats about 14 inch above.
there is plenty of caves, wood, hiding caverns ....
do you think they would be ok?
how is it if they fight, is it like..."get out of my hole" and chase it away. or is it follow it around the tnak and attack it constantly relentlessly?

Its a large tank and woul dbe cool tos ee two eels feeding in there maybe even more in the future.
possible?

Honestly, I don't think you have the room. The Ck will take up half the length of the tank by itself. Compatibility wise, I don't see a problem, but the fish you have will eventually wind up feeding the CK

the ck is not growing too fast, its not about 14 to 15 inches and has tepered in growth.
also the CK has a catch, it cannot swallow big things, cos its jaw was dislocated at a young age by attacking food and smashing into a piece of wood so mouth is crooked.

i doubt CK will eat a full sized delhezi or palmas:P

abit late... but better 'n never... fw eels fish generally attack any and all conspecifics.. there are uncommon cases of these fish getting along... but it's not just nip chase.. get out.. it is all out war... I watched 1 fire eel do this to another.. there was no escapeing his wrath once he knew the other one was in the area.. these fish either die from the constant stress in a matter of hours.. or will commit carpet suicide to escape their aggressor.

since the TT is a current resident and the fire eel would be new... even more unlikely the mix will work. most instances of peopel mixing these results in a dead fire eel. they are more often the gentle giant of the 2 species.

If bound and determined to try.. i'de put a divider in and seperate them until the fire eel was eating well and obviousely content in the tank before removeing the divider. this will also give the fish time to set-up "territories" Treat them like you would aggressive cichlids. ime thase fish are as smart and territorial as a vast majority of SA/CA cichlids. and can be just as nasty as an african in some cases. And I'de also get a fire in the 20" range if possible. add more hide spots, change decor around if need be ect ect...
