Ok my tt is eating.
i thaw a peeled raw prawn, stab 4 to 5 pieces of hikari arowana sticks into it, and wiggle it on top fo the water....
the eel goes for it!
finally!
before i had to reach down, now it jsut comes up.
BUT
after feeding it average of 2 per day the last 4 days, today after its second one, few hours later....it still wants more
when it saw me, it started looking up and i know if i wiggle another, it will come.

Can i over feed these? id ont want indigestion lol
no shell though

not worried bout filtration or anything.....NEVER a problem
but can i over feed them or will they stop eating when full?

its currently 16 inch or 17 inch. big guy, gettin thick cos been eating heaps.
do i keep feeding or just let it digest first?

My TT is the same way about earth worms. I feed him 1x a day pretty heavy. so every week I let him go a day to digest and make sure he's not bloated. he's a voracious eater and has been growing quick. if he's getting thick but not growing lengthwise I'de watch the feeding abit. obesity in any animal is not good. But a solid fish w/out looking "fat" isn't a bad thing. If he starts haveing issues moveing about ect I'de cut back. otherwise I wouldn't worry much about it. I've noticed between the fire eels, the TT , and my peacocks that they will all eat until litteraly stuffed and can't cram anymore down. I try to avoid it. Like the proverbial Oscar w/ a feeder hanging out of it's mouth. If he's gasping or overly "lazy" after a meal I'de cut back abit, and feed less more often. or simply feed less altogether.
