Hi just wondering if TTs or fire eels ever eat feeders? I had a 13" TT that wouldn't touch feeders, though I heard they do eat smaller fish? Thanks

my fire will eat pretty much anything. never tried feeders though, don't know why you would want too...

My three fire eels have NO interest in fish. They get hand fed, so I'm guessing a big reason is they are lazy bums. But, I've had feeders in there before, and the eels seem more irritated by them than anything. If you can keep them off feeders its probably better. My guys used to get blood worms, but then graduated to red wrigglers and then night crawlers (both earthworms). They also get krill, chunks of market shrimp, and tilapia. My biggest guy, Norbert, won't even eat off the ground. Unless I hand it to him, he won't eat it. But, no complaints. I love that fat, lazy, princess of an eel.

judging by your post count (and the thread starter's) you must have forgotten why people would join a forum named Monster fish keepers in the first place?

Post count has nothing to do with whether a person joined for the joy of keeping fish that the average person couldn't, or have such low self-esteem that they need to throw defenseless fish to their deaths in an unnatural and inescapable setting.
As for the original topic no, mine only eat worms and shrimp.
