I have 3 tubs out right now, one at my grandpa's house. the one at my grandpa's is doing far better, because it's more shaded, there's an almost unnecessary number of mosquitoes, and the plants took off way better there for some reason. It's no wonder why my guppies started dropping fry so fast and frequently. Meanwhile at home, I have a tub of white clouds and pseudomugil gertrudae. VERY luscious, lots of hyacinth with long roots and a decent sized lily in there. I don't know if there's fry or not, but the males are in very bright breeding colors and the females are very plump with eggs. hopefully there is when I pull them at the end of the season. other than that, temperature management is very iffy. for one the tub is on the sunny side of the house (the only level side that the HOA won't fuss about) and thus gets hot and evaporates very fast. doesn't help that it hasn't been raining either. maybe that's why I haven't seen fry.
any tips or input for next season if this one doesn't turn out well?
