If the male has his little tube down and the female does not, how long will a male rd 'hope' for? He is not being aggressive, just trying, clearing gravel everywhere, but she wont have it. Any thoughts? thanks

not sure how long he will "hope" for LMAO but make sure you keep close eye on them because if she isnt ready and he is he may not take her rejection very well and may turn into a wife beater to just make sure you have either a divider or another tank ready to separate her if you have to GOOD LUCK
Yeah I have spare tanks and a divider ready to go if need be. She can keep him away, hes smaller still, just was curious since hes been this way for 3 days, took her cave away which has her pretty mad.
