i have a 6.5 ft tank with some malawi's in it, mbuna and haps and 1 fontosa, anyway about a year ago i was not keep so well mentally lol so the tank was neglected and water conditions got bad and i lost some fish, once i got my finger out and got back to looking afte rit again i had lost a few fish, since then every once in a while a fish gets poorly and after a few weeks dies.

the symptoms many of my fish have is concave stomachs, some are fine though, when a fish goes poorly it goes thin and its fins go tatty and sometimes a cloudy eye, eventually it dies.

it was suggested that this might be fish tuberculosis, what do you guys think

I had this problem when I was keeping Africans and it was poor water quality. How are your water parameters? Also check your ph. If all of those are in acceptable ranges I would do a 50% or so water change don't forget your conditioner to remove chlorine. Add non-iodized salt 1teaspoon per 10 gallons and bump the temp to 84f or so

my parametrs are fine, ph is ok out the tap and i do a 50% water chage each week. I have been doing this for a while now, i dont have a problem with my water conditions, im trying to eastablish is all my fish are infected or not as many have raised stomachs. I am using 'prime' to remove chlorine.
