Here are some fish almost anyone would consider monster, though they are definately next to impossible to keep, supplies required may include: unrealistic sized hyperbaric chamber, a VERY powerful chiller, and/or the Georga public aquarium if it is still the largest in the world
Viperfish:
barrel eye
hairy angler
gulper eel
Giant isopod (a lobstermen caught a few in a trap and donated them to the london aquarium, still alive)
fangtooth (can survive for years out of environment in university/special aquariums way too expensive for us hobbyists)
Great swallower/Black swallower (Yes the 8-9 inch fish DID eat the snake mackerel in life)
Oarfish, nice but a bit large (up to 20-30 feet long):
Cookiecutter shark ( bites flesh out of much larger fish and mammals)
