I will be moving my 600gl tank to my new location soon, but in the mean time I've been offered a 24" TSN for free, and I will need a temp tank to house my fish when I move them here initially. This tank seems like a decent size for what I need, just wondering if anyone has used one. I know the rubbermaids are more popular, but I'm in kindof a remote location, so I'm looking to take whatever I can get!

The tuff stuff tubs come equipped with a drain on the side of the tank as well, where I would likely plumb in the filtration. Was thinking I'd go DIY filter on this, with a $30 800gph pump or something. Despite being large and piggish I haven't found TSN to be very demanding in terms of filtration... either that or my last DIY filter was just so awesome it didn't have a problem ;)

I've had a 300 gal Rubbermaid I've been using for fish for years...

I see no resaon why the Tuff Stuff tank wouldn't work..

Is it water tight? Is it labeled 'not safe for drinking water'?

Apart from the obvious reasons not to use it, I can't think of any...

It's made for watering farm stock, so it's definitely watertight and so forth. I guess I wondered if anyone had used one. I found one thread where someone has, but I was hoping there would be more, so I could start storming up some filtration idears.

Haven't seen this TSN though, I guess I better hope the tank is big enough to keep him happy for a while.
