12 year old goldfish.
What are these white balls? We thought they were benign lipomas and that’s still possible but I’m concerned as one of them looks like it’s burst?
Please advise! 130g tanks he is one of 2 fish and is 10” long. Water changes 1x a week, (50%) hikari high end wafers and fresh food 1-2x a week, api master test kit (chem test) with good parameters. 1751931045585.jpeg

They also look like lipomas to me also since they’re smooth and pink but you can’t be sure without a biopsy because they could be papillomas, fibromas, lymphomas, etc. Any of these might bleed if injured or infected. As long as the tumor isn’t growing real fast and the fish is acting normal, it’s probably benign and nothing to worry about. Just kinda unsightly…not sure why goldfish get them so much
