My twin 1" o/f's on my 180 were being overpowered by my pump (Flotec FPO2300x-1975 gph at 5'), even after reducing it down to 4 1/2" outlets with multiple turns, etc. No biggie, but the boys are growing and so is the poop. So I decided to ramp the o/f's up a bit. Since I have 2 anti siphon pipes, I decided to turn one into another o/f. Works like a charm; pump is at full blast and it was a no hassle addition in less than 30 seconds. I would say it's not technically a 3rd o/f; it's just adding more gph to the one it's attached to...
