The space may make it possible, but they're not community fish. Lurkers are pretty vicious to most anything
Tempted to try it. Been trying to get an abei and each one has really been a turgidus. Really like the three of them so tempted to try it

I've gotten all of mine from either Wetspot (through Aquabid) or a local fish store

Any updates on keeping these together? i have had 2 for 2 years in separate tanks and am tempted to try a reintroduction. They have identical 15 hex tanks with tons of plants, and always sit in the same spots. I think my best bet is to set up a new, bigger tank so neither has a territory. They were in a split tank with a clear divider when i first got them and one intimidated the other. They've been alone about a year.
