Turkey heart ?

Hi

I went to pickup some froozen foods at the lfs today, and instead of beefheart they now carried turkey heart.
Anyone using it ?
I`m guessing the same rules apply.... great source of protein but dont feed it every day.

Hmm I have never seen that before but I would asume it would be similar ..... I wonder if it will give your fish teh thanksgiving effect ... you know after eating got to go laydown and sleep then wake up starving again eat then sleep ... rofl but seriously I think it will be ok

^ Thats the tryptophan in the turkey that causes that. Back to the op, I know a lot of breeders than make their own beefheart and use turkey heart since its leaner and healthier.

sounds interesting, but I imagine too much avian protein can't be good for fish...better than beefheart I suppose

you can use most any heart the same as beef heart
