I know this show is so fake but why do they always finish the set up, fill the tank, and add the fish right away. Is there no" cycling" needed?

I hope they just do it for the show and cut some scenes. Another words, I hope it only looks like the put in fish right after set up, but hope in reality the fish are put in weeks later and the show just makes it look like right after
