Turning aquarium into a viv.

I will soon have 2 empty 2x1x1 aquaqriums could i use these for my cornsnakes? And how would it work? And would a heat pad crack the tank? Thanks

put a piece of cardboard between the tank and heatpad Boggy. It can work. You need airflow but not too much. It works very well with cornsnakes. My 4' corn is in one, and so is my royal and my king.

Cardboard between the heatpad? I haven't heard of that before. The instructions on the pads that I have gotten said to apply directly to the glass.

I think they can crack the glass if a tank is directly on top with no airflow either between the floor and the mat or the mat and the tank, but i'm not sure, I don't use glass tanks.

I keep my pads on the glass but I do have airflow underneath the tanks so that might be it? I haven't had any problems so far.
