i really want to breed I have a ton of stuff going on in my house with tanks... BUT I have a small indoor pool im considering breeding sting rays in? I havent put a lot of thought into it yet just crossed my mind. Did not know if it would be a horrible idea haha
If the pool need resurfacing... go for it. If not then don't... unless you don't mind spending the money to get it resurface. My neighbors didn't take care of their pool and it turned into an algae pond, they ended up paying some company to resurface the pool to get rid of all those algae damage.
i just got it resurfaced a couple months ago. I dont even know where to start though. Whats the best way to go about doing this? Do I need to do anything crazy to the pool to make it work?

If it is plaster than you've got a good start. A normal plaster job should last you anywhere from 10 to 18 years. That is under normal maintenance and conditions. Biggest thing with pools is keeping the ph balanced and the more acidic the water the less life you will get out of the plaster. Acid breaks down the cement in the plaster and the sand is left. Since you're pool is indoor it will cut down on the algae if you plan on wanting to see your fish in the pond. It will also help with heating because that and the filtration are your biggest issues. I would say you have a lot going in your favor for this being do able. I suggest a very good uv sterelizer. Got a pic of said pool?
