One of my 7 Herichthys sp. turquoise ('Cazones') has paired up and spawned at least twice with a chocolate cichlid. They dig a huge pit and spawn on the various large pebbles they've cleared free of pea gravel and sand. They guard the nest/spawn just as either would when paired with their own kind. I'll probably move them into a 75 I have and see if the spawn is fertile and subsequently if the fry are sterile or not.
