turquoise?

I went to petsmart today to look for a new fish (it's sad that they actually have the healthiest fish in the whole city) and I ended up buying a "turquoise severum" I'm growing him/her out in a 55 gal untill its about 5 inches than moving it to a 130g
should I just feed it tropical flakes untill it's large enough to eat cichlid pellets?
what else can I offer it to eat , considering it's only about an inch long?

how big is it now. try hakari mini pellets or omega one shrimp pellets. i had 1" fry eating broken in half shrimp pellets. try blood worms too. you want to vary their diet for good growth

Skin a pea and dice it up finely. Will love it.
