turtle filter

Not sure what you mean by turtle filter?
The only ones i have seen are submersibles, green colored in-tank filters, and canisters. But in essence they are the same as the fish ones.
 
are you talking about those little baby canister filters made by zoo med? I've used those on fish tanks and they work very well (10g).

For turtles, I go with strictly mechanical filtration,frequent large water changes and frequent cleaning of the filter. I don't even bother with trying to get a biological filter going with turtles.

i concur but both would be greatly appreciated to the turtle.

sorry should've specified what i meant by turtle filter. I saw one at my local LFS, it was a green colored submersible one, with 3-4 filters built inside of it.

Just wondering if it would work for a 10 gallon fish tank.
