Any recommendations for a good (high calcium) sinking type aquatic turtle food? I think most of the turtle foods out there (ie Reptomin, Wardleys, etc) are all floating type. I prefer something good in calcium content.
Thanks.

I can't think of any brands off the top of my head that sink. Most if not all float. The only sinking food I feed my turtles are algae wafers, shrimp pellets and Massivore.

Those are all high in protein.. and low in calcium, compared to turtle sticks out there.... I know... its been hard for me to find sinking turtle food.

Just feed the turtles with whole fish like minnows, rosies, etc...
Pinky mice are also a good source of calzium/Vitamin D3 as well as whole snails.

You should supply cuttlebone for calcium.

What species of turtle do you have?

Yep, throwing a cuttlebone in there is a good idea for extra calcium
