Hunter Mistakes Body For Turtle

A man who thought he was shooting at a turtle was in fact shooting a human body, police said.Logan Township Police Chief Ron Heller said Henry Taneyhill, 61, was walking home from a bar last Friday and was drunk. Police said Taneyhill fell into a pond at the Mountain Top Sportsman Club, where he drowned.Two days later, on Sunday, a member of the sportsman's club thought he was shooting at a turtle when he realized he was shooting at Taneyhill's body.Investigators said there was no foul play involved.

Weird. We do have a "hunting season" for snapping turtles here in Pennsylvania but people use baited hooks to catch them, not guns.
