Thank you all for all the info on the turtle. It was much apreciated. here are some pics of it. it was origionally in a 20 gallon (for only 2 days while i got the "pen set up) now shes in the pen.

ya give him more stuff to hide under/in and bask on...kinda boring for him to only have one rock...but he his nice looking.
Nice critter.
I used a couple pieces of hard styrofoam free-floating they seamed to like climbing on it better than the wood they had.
Mine never ate it but keep an eye on it anyway, different turtle different behavior.
